Poster for an imaginary gallery at the MFA Boston based on works in the MFA collection.
Created for a project in my Design Process class, The Churn posters represent a possible exhibition at the MFA Boston showcasing art from throughout the MFA Boston collection that depict the movement of water. A mostly typographic poster design, I decided to put the title and tagline exhibit into the shape of a wave. The treatments of the type in the title and tagline are both based on different ways of depicting water from art observed at the MFA Boston. The version on left is the reduced version while the version on the right includes a quick description of the exhibition.
