For my Graphic design class, I was tasked with developing a fake product, and then developing the branding around it. I created Vertebrae, an imaginary music software to help its users to quickly write complex and interesting chord progressions for their music. The name Vertebrae was chosen because the vertebrae is what makes up the spine, or backbone of our body, just like a chords are the backbone of a song. The logo was designed around the shape of piano keys, with the shape of a soundwave in the back.
